A consultancy with a large national presence that were established over 50 years ago.  They operate across a number of sectors including Engineering, Environmental and Energy and have a strong presence in the market.

Their Sydney office is led by an engaging and experienced leadership team and is going through an exciting period of growth.  They are looking to add a number of positions to their team and so it is a great time to join an established consultancy that is going through a growth phase that will allow you to accelerate your career.

The Role

Due to this period of growth, they are looking to add a Bridge Design Engineer to their team. You will work under the Senior Engineer and Bridge Lead and carry out both design and inspection of bridges.

The Responsibilities

Under the guidance of Senior Engineers and also working independently, you will undertake inspections of existing bridges and compile reports on your findings.  You will also be responsible for the hands-on design of a range of bridge types from new-builds to upgrading existing structures.

The Requirements

As the successful applicant, you will be able to demonstrate:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Bridge Design Engineer
• Experience working for an engineering design consultancy in NSW
• Experience working to RMS codes and standards
• Bridge inspection experience is highly advantageous
• ARRB inspection accreditation is also highly advantageous
• Full working rights in Australia
