Job description

Our client is an established and well-known building contractor who work across the commercial, health (private and public) and public sectors delivering small fast paced refurbishment and fit out projects ranging from $100k to $3m.
 
With a great office environment and exciting construction sites to work on, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join the business based in the Gold Coast suburbs assisting with accounts, administration and personal assistance. 
 
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for all administration, including:
  • Diary, phone calls, emails, travel, meeting coordination and meeting minutes
  • Processing invoices and orders
  • Supplier Management and purchase order requisitions
  • Process improvement
  • Liaising with project managers on a regular basis
  • Customer Service 
  • Adhoc Administrative tasks
Coupled with:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive small team focused approach
Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked in the Construction / Engineering industry prior for at least 2 years who is able to therefore share their knowledge and assist other members of the team with industry related duties.
