About the Role
Based in a modern logistics facility in Perth’s south-east, this role is responsible for overseeing refrigerated fleet operations and local distribution activities. You will lead a small team of coordinators (3 direct reports) and manage a fleet of approximately 20 trucks, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across AM and PM shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with OH&S and Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Oversee daily transport operations, including fleet performance, scheduling, and freight coordination
  • Manage incident reporting, investigations, and compliance processes
  • Ensure all staff and contractors are inducted, trained, and operating safely
  • Maintain equipment, asset compliance, and damage reporting standards
  • Ensure correct loading, handling, and protection of freight
  • Drive continuous improvement across operational processes and performance
  • Manage rostering, leave planning, and facilitate regular toolbox meetings
  • Support team development through mentoring and leadership
About You
  • Proven experience in transport or logistics operations, including a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of fleet operations and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid knowledge of OH&S and Chain of Responsibility compliance
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and strong Excel capability
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or similar (desirable)
