Job description

Our client are state Government organisation within the Transport sector who due to an internal restructure have identified a number of upcoming requirements for a number of Rail Supervisors/Site Manager to assist in the delivery of major track construction & maintenance works across the network.

As Supervisor your main responsibilities will be overseeing day to day activities on site and coordinate & manage sub-contractors to achieve project milestones. Working along side the Project Manager and Contracts Administrator to ensure that site safety, quality and programme are adhered to. You additionally will be expected to review design documentation proving input into constructability reviews. Scope of works will be heavily focused towards rail track construction including re-railing, turnout installation, ballast cleaning, track re-alignment, resurfacing etc.

We are actively looking to speak to experienced Site Managers and Supervisors who have a proven background in track construction and/or maintenance who would be keen to work on state government projects in the rail corridor.

The positions will be 12 month contracts with a view to extend based on performance and will include an attractive daily rate. Tentative start dates will be around the beginning of June so we are actively looking to Rail experts who will be shortly finishing project.
