The Project
This well known builder/developer have recently broken ground on a landmark $120M residential high-rise development located in the heart of South Brisbane. This iconic tower features complex architectural elements and high-end finishes, requiring a robust structural program to ensure a seamless transition into the fit-out phase.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Structures Foreman to lead the early stages of this build. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be the driving force behind the structural cycle, managing everything from the basement and jump-form systems to the final topping out.
You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring uncompromising safety standards, and maintaining a high-velocity program without sacrificing quality.

You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring uncompromising safety standards, and maintaining a high-velocity program without sacrificing quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Subcontractor Coordination: Lead and manage structural trades including formwork, steel fixing, post-tensioning, and concrete placement.
- Program Management: Drive the structural cycle to ensure milestones are met or exceeded.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections to ensure all structural elements comply with engineering specifications and Australian standards.
- Safety Leadership: Foster a proactive safety culture on-site, ensuring all SWMS are followed and high-risk activities are managed meticulously.
- Problem Solving: Address onsite technical queries and coordination issues in real-time to prevent delays.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Track Record: At least 5+ years of experience as a Foreman specifically focused on structures for high-rise residential or commercial projects (minimum project value of $50M+).
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of jump-form systems, PT slabs, and complex structural transitions.
- Leadership: A "firm but fair" management style with the ability to get the best out of a diverse subcontractor base.
- Trade Background: A carpentry or structural trade qualification is highly regarded.
- Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the South East Queensland market and a reliable network of local subcontractors.
