The Company
  • You will be joining a mid-tier builder that has been operating in the Australian market for over 60 years.

  • Sectors covered include Aged Care, Government and general commercial refurbishment (including major loss insurance) valued to $40M (this role will cover projects $1M - $5M)

Position
  • Reporting into a Construction Manager you will help oversee the completion of the project to handover
  • This is an autonomous role that will suit someone who can manage sites on their own
  • Scopes will typically include work in live environments that are heavy refurbishment to an existing premises with some new build elements.  
  • The sites will be operational throughout the build so the successful candidate will understand how to operate in a live environment and have a safety first attitude
  • The Project Management team will be based out of Sydney and provide full administration support for the project
  • This is a full-time role with forwarding work after the completion of this project. Being a regional builder works may sometimes be 2-3 hours from home.
  • In this event all accommodation, travel and living expenses will be cover
  • Discretionary bonuses are offered for successfully delivered projects
Salary will be $155K – $165K package + a fully maintained UTE (5 day work week)

Background / Experience
  • Trade with additional tertiary building qualification advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to have independently delivered projects in excess of $2M ideally with 2-3 projects under your belt start to finish
  • Have experience working on refurbishment projects in the commercial sector
  • Ability to build relationships and manage personnel to operate cohesively in a team environment
  • Strong technical, planning & programming skills
  • Extensive knowledge around logistical planning in live environments
  • Good safety & company system management skills
