CGC Recruitment is partnering with an established Tier 2 commercial builder to appoint a Site Manager for an $10m multi-storey apartment development in Cannington.

This is a particularly attractive opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of an established project rather than walking into a build from day one.

The project is approximately five months into construction, successfully tracking to programme and fully resourced, with an experienced project team already in place. The current Site Manager is remaining with the business and transitioning onto a larger recently awarded project, creating an opportunity for either an experienced Site Manager or an up-and-coming Site Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

The Opportunity

As Site Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day site delivery through to successful completion, working alongside an established project team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Driving the construction programme and day-to-day site operations
• Managing subcontractors, trades and site personnel
• Coordinating works, sequencing and site logistics
• Maintaining strong safety, quality and compliance standards
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team
• Managing programme milestones and resolving site issues
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders

About You
We're interested in speaking with both proven Site Managers and experienced site professionals ready to step up.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience within a commercial head contractor environment
• Exposure to multi-storey apartments or commercial new-build projects
• Strong subcontractor and programme management capability
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to site delivery
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• The ability to take ownership while working collaboratively within an established project team
