Opportunity

Highly reputable commercial refurbishment and fit out builder requires an experienced Site Manager for an immediate start on a challenging live-environment project in Melbourne CBD.

Working as the No.1 Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Saturday and Sunday works will be a requirement, so candidates must be comfortable working weekends.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager across commercial refurbishments and fit outs
Proven live-environment experience
Procore and Breadcrumb experience is essential
Strong understanding of Melbourne CBD site logistics and working within occupied environments
Confident coordinating trades, subcontractors and stakeholders
Strong programming, sequencing and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail across quality, finishes and defects
Safety-focused approach with safety paramount on site
Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day site operations
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries and site logistics
Drive program, sequencing and project milestones
Maintain strong safety and quality standards
Liaise with the client, consultants and project team
Manage site documentation, defects and handover
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification
