Opportunity
A respected commercial builder is seeking an experienced Contract Site Manager to lead a fit out and refurbishment project in Canberra.
As the No.1 Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of site delivery within a live environment, coordinating trades and subcontractors while maintaining strong safety, quality and program outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in live environments, with strong practical knowledge across rendering, waterproofing, partitions, finishes and defect rectification.

Requirements
- 5+ years’ commercial fit out/refurbishment experience
- Proven live-environment experience
- Strong knowledge of rendering, waterproofing, partitions and finishes
- Confident managing defects and driving subcontractors
- Strong programming, sequencing and site coordination skills
- Excellent communication and leadership
- Proficient with Procore, HammerTech or similar
- Manage day-to-day site delivery
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers
- Drive program and site sequencing
- Maintain high safety and quality standards
- Identify and close out defects
- Liaise with PM, CA, consultants and client
- Ensure works are delivered on time and to specification
