Join a established commercial builder delivering a diverse range of Defence and Government projects across one of the most picturesque regions in NSW, including the South Coast and Jervis Bay surrounds.
Our client is a respected regional contractor that has been operating successfully since 2014, with a strong local presence and an excellent reputation for project delivery. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are assisting in the recruitment of a Site Manager to join the team locally, delivering projects ranging from $5M – $30M.
The Role
As the Site Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day site operations across a $20M health project located in South Nowra. The programme is 15 months on a 5 day work week.
Working closely with the wider project team (PM, PE, CA and FM) , you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Salary will be dependent on experience; however, packages in the range of $170K – 180K + super can be expected.

- Coordinating and managing all on-site activities
- Driving programme outcomes and maintaining construction schedules
- Managing subcontractors and site personnel effectively
- Ensuring works are completed to specification and quality expectations
- Maintaining strong safety standards and compliance with company systems
- Managing site administration, reporting, and documentation
- Working collaboratively with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Carpentry trade qualification preferred; tertiary qualifications advantageous
- Proven experience delivering commercial projects valued above $15M
- Ability to independently manage projects or lead site teams successfully
- Strong planning, programming, and buildability knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Sound understanding of budgets, preliminaries, and variation management
- Strong knowledge of construction trades and sequencing
- Experience using Procore and Hammertech
- Commitment to safety, quality, and team culture
