Well-known Sydney builder requires an immediate contract site manager for a challenging $2.5M extension and refurb project near Wellington (Central West NSW).
With the backing of an experienced Senior PM and hard-working Contracts Administrator, you will lead a dedicated team of tradesmen and subcontractors from planning through to successful completion.
With handover currently set for May 2025, this is a great opportunity for a professional contractor to step into a 6-month guaranteed role and make their mark.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in educational projects, highly desirable
- Comfortable and confident in both structures and fit out
- Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the entire build, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specifications
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Manage and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
