Site Engineer - Civil Roads Project | Blue Mountains
Our client, a well-established civil contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team delivering a major road infrastructure project in the Blue Mountains. This is a temporary contract position with an immediate start, running for an initial 6-9 months.
 
The Role

• Manage day-to-day engineering activities on-site, ensuring works are delivered to specification, program, and budget
• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, and site supervisors to ensure smooth site operations
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Assist with quality assurance, ensuring compliance with project ITPs and relevant standards
• Support setout, survey checks, and as-built documentation
• Monitor and report on program progress, identifying and escalating risks or delays
• Liaise with the Project Manager and broader site team to resolve technical issues
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with WHS requirements

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
• Proven site engineering experience on road infrastructure projects
• Experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractor
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, survey, and setout
• Working knowledge of relevant RMS/TfNSW specifications highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a site team
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel/work on-site in the Blue Mountains
• Available to start immediately
