Site Engineer - FRP Projects | Brisbane
A specialist national contractor with close to 20 years of success delivering complex Civil and Structures projects has recently secured a $9m FRP package on the outskirts of Brisbane and is now looking to appoint a Site Engineer on a permanent basis.
 
Operating as both a subcontractor and principal contractor, this business has built an outstanding reputation across Australia for delivering technically challenging infrastructure works. With a current live order book exceeding $50m and continued growth across South East Queensland, this is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor entering a major growth phase.
 
The successful engineer will join a Brisbane-based project through to the end of the year, working closely under the guidance and mentorship of a highly experienced Senior Engineer. The business is committed to internal development and progression, with a clear pathway into a Project Engineer position within 9-12 months.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day site engineering and project coordination
  • Supporting delivery of FRP-related construction works
  • Assisting with planning, QA documentation, reporting and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
  • Working closely with senior project staff in a fast-paced site environment
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years' on-site engineering experience
  • Proven project experience involving FRP works is essential
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to perform in demanding site environments
  • Career-driven attitude with a genuine desire to progress
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
