SITE ENGINEER – CONTRACT | SYDNEY | IMMEDIATE START

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for an immediate start on a civil infrastructure project in Sydney working with a principle contractor. This is a contract engagement for an initial 3–4 months with a strong likelihood of extension for the right candidate.

Scope of Works

• Earthworks (cut & fill, bulk excavation)
• Remediation (contaminated land management)
• FRP 
• Retaining walls
• Utilities (wet & dry services)

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site supervision across civil and utility scopes
• Set-out, quality inspections and conformance checks against design drawings
• Coordination of subcontractors and construction sequencing
• Preparation of daily diaries, site instructions and ITPs
• Active participation in safety briefings, toolbox talks and SWMS reviews
• Liaison with the project manager, design team and client representatives
• Maintaining as-built records and site documentation

About You

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3–5 years site engineering experience on civil infrastructure projects
• Exposure to earthworks, utilities or remediation scopes highly regarded
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements in a civil construction environment
• Full working rights in Australia — no sponsorship available
• Current White Card and valid driver's licence

• Duration: 3–4 months + possible extension
• Start: Immediate / ASAP
• Engagement: Temporary contract
