Site Engineer (Contract) – 3 Months New Build Residential Project | ASAP Start Our client, a reputable builder with a strong pipeline of residential developments, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team on a 3-month contract to assist with the commencement and delivery of a new build residential project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Site Engineer looking to work on a well-structured project from the early stages while contributing to successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and delivery of construction activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports, and records.
• Monitor project progress against programme and identify potential risks or delays.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with procurement, material tracking, and logistics coordination.
• Support project reporting including programme updates, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, authorities, and internal project teams.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with WHS requirements and company procedures.
• Assist with defect management and project close-out activities as required.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer within the Australian construction industry.
• Previous experience working on residential building projects is essential.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site coordination, and quality management.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
