Site Engineer (Contract) – 3 Months New Build Residential Project | ASAP Start Our client, a reputable builder with a strong pipeline of residential developments, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team on a 3-month contract to assist with the commencement and delivery of a new build residential project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Site Engineer looking to work on a well-structured project from the early stages while contributing to successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and delivery of construction activities on site.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports, and records.
- Monitor project progress against programme and identify potential risks or delays.
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Assist with procurement, material tracking, and logistics coordination.
- Support project reporting including programme updates, cost tracking, and forecasting.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, authorities, and internal project teams.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with WHS requirements and company procedures.
- Assist with defect management and project close-out activities as required.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer within the Australian construction industry.
- Previous experience working on residential building projects is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site coordination, and quality management.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Immediate start available.
