Our client is a specialist consultancy who work on a diverse range of projects across the QLD region and internationally.
This dynamic business will take on everything from hospitals to high rise residential and commercial projects to steel framed industrial buildings.
 
With the Brisbane market steadily getting busier, they have won a large amount of work and are looking to supplement their highly skilled team with the addition of an experienced Revit Structural Drafter to come in and lead on individual projects.
 
The Role
 
With a diverse scope of projects both large and medium sized this role would suit a candidate with well-rounded experience across a range of building types.
 
You will be working within a full Revit 3D environment alongside highly experienced Engineers and as part of a small drafting team / leading the team. You will also liaise with clients and Engineers in order to deliver top class project documentation.  
 
As the senior drafter within the team, you will also be acting as the lead drafter on some upcoming projects, overseeing the work of an intermediate and junior sitting in the team already.
 
The Responsibilities 

• Supervising 2 drafters
• Revit documentation
• Liaising with clients
• Occasional site visits
• Problem solving and Revit systems improvement input 

 
The Requirements
 
This position requires an individual who possesses:

• Exposure to structural drafting projects across a range of building types
• Strong practical knowledge of Revit with at least 5 years of project-based experience
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Structural Drafter
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian design standards
• Full working rights in Australia
• Previous experience of managing a team of drafters is beneficial
