Blacktown Location | ASAP Start | Up to 2-Month Contract
A main builder is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a Class 2 residential project in Blacktown.
This is an immediate requirement for an experienced PM who can step into the project, hit the ground running and provide strong project leadership through a busy period. The initial contract is up to 2 months, with the potential for further opportunities depending on project requirements.
The Role You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the project, working closely with the site and project team to ensure the project remains on track.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the project from a construction and delivery perspective
• Overseeing programme, quality, safety and project milestones
• Managing subcontractors and consultants
• Coordinating with the Site Manager and wider project team
• Managing variations, RFIs, defects and project documentation
• Liaising with the client and key stakeholders
• Ensuring works are delivered to the required standards and programme
• Providing strong leadership and support to the project team

About You The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
• Strong experience working on Class 2 residential projects
• Experience working for a main builder
• Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to step into an existing project and make an immediate impact
• Australian construction experience

ASAP start required.
