Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer
Join a boutique QLD builder on this exciting $40M development project which will run for the next 2 years. The project is a residential and commercial estate, which will house a hotel and retail area in the centre.
The Company:
A luxury, Queensland based builder with the capability to operate as head contractor, client-side project manager and developer depending on the project and requirements.
They were set up 4 years ago by a group of Directors with many years of combined experience in the state, across Australia and Internationally.
Their model has been extremely successful to date, with significant growth seen in the last 18 months and an extremely busy 2023 of projects secured.
The Position – Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer:
With the General Manager dealing with the client, you will focus on the programming and detailing of the project. You will have a Senior Contract Administrator and Site Manager helping you deliver the project.
General Duties:

General Duties:
- Compiling scope of works for tenders
- Program updating and management
- Construction methodology reviews
- Providing cost savings & value engineering options to client
- Design reviews & coordination with consultants
- Subcontractor coordination between design consultants and site manager/foreman
- Assisting Contract administrator for tendering reviews & comparisons
- Experience approximately 8+ years on commercial &/or similar project
- Preferably with a degree however not required depending on experience
- Hardworking & committed to a team & project
- Good teamwork experience
- Good at dealing with clients/consultants & subcontractors
