Job description

CGC Recruitment have partnered with one of longest standing clients who are are a specialist Rail Contractor, currently at the forefront of the rail infrastructure boom across Australia with established pipelines of work in QLD, NSW and WA.
 
They are involved in one of Australia's most ionic Transport Infrastructure projects on the East Coast, estimated at over $800ml. The project is steadily starting to ramp up and they have identified an urgent requirement for a specialist Senior Project Engineer to join a dynamic team of Infrastructure professionals on a full time basis. 
 
The role will be based in Brisbane for the next 12 months working on the development phase of the project which will involve; preparing the program of works, cost estimates, management plans, developing constructability methodologies and most importantly managing interfaces with between different teams.  The position will then transfer into a site based construction role where you will primary be the key personal on the ground for Engineering delivery between Track & Civil Construction Teams as well as a basic Signalling System. 
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- Engineer Degree
- Must have at least 10 years construction experience
- Proven background delivering complex brownfield Rail projects 
- Strong background in dealing with multiple stakeholders 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
- Experience across Track, Civil and other Rail Systems 
- Ability to Lead Engineers in a construction environment
- Able to make key decisions
