Senior Project Engineer (Contract) - Major Transport Infrastructure Project
Location: Commutable from South Brisbane or the Gold Coast
Contract Duration: 3-6 months (Immediate Start)

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor on a landmark, large-scale transport infrastructure project. This is a contract opportunity offering an immediate start, working within a high-performing delivery team on a technically complex scope.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily Senior Project Engineering activities across allocated work packages
- Coordinate construction activities for roads, drainage, pavements, subsoil drainage, and kerbing works
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and TMR standards
- Drive program adherence, cost control, and quality outcomes
- Manage subcontractors and interface effectively with site teams and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance
- Support reporting, forecasting, and project documentation requirements
- Minimum 10+ years post-graduate experience in civil infrastructure projects
- Proven track record delivering TMR (Transport and Main Roads) projects
- Strong background in external civil works, including roads, drainage, pavements, subsoil, and kerbs
- Experience working with Tier 1 or major contractors on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to hit the ground running in a contract role with minimal supervision
