CGC Recruitment is partnering with an established Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Project Engineer for a major building project in Perth.

The Opportunity

Join a high-performing project team delivering a technically challenging building project. Working closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating project delivery, managing subcontractors and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project delivery across major construction packages
• Manage subcontractor procurement, coordination and performance
• Drive programme, planning and short-term construction sequencing
• Monitor project costs, forecasting and reporting
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with quality, safety and environmental requirements
• Manage RFIs, design coordination and technical documentation
• Liaise with consultants, client representatives and internal project stakeholders
• Support the Project Manager in achieving key project milestones

About You 

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on commercial or industrial building projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project delivery
• Experience or exposure managing structural, façade, services or fit-out packages
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and planning capability
