An opportunity has become available for a Senior Project Engineer to join a leading commercial builder delivering a major healthcare development in Perth’s eastern suburbs.
This is a key position on a high-profile, technically complex project, offering the chance to work within a well-established team on a landmark build in the WA market.
The Role - Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of key packages from procurement through to delivery, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage project engineering functions across key trade packages
- Drive procurement, scope definition, and subcontractor engagement
- Oversee programme and ensure critical milestones are achieved
- Monitor cost, variations, and forecasting in collaboration with the commercial team
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and site team members
- Work closely with site and design teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and risk management
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer within commercial construction
- Experience delivering large-scale projects ($50m+), ideally within healthcare or complex builds
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across design, commercial, and site teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
- Work on a major healthcare development with a strong delivery team
