My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of key civil and mining projects for Tier 1 clients, including FMG and BHP.

This role will see you play a critical part in the delivery of complex works across earthworks, concrete, dewatering, and HDPE pipelines, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

• $100 - $105 Per Hour + Super (paid weekly)
• 2:1 FIFO roster
• 12-hour workdays
• Point of hire – Perth

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in delivering end-to-end project outcomes across civil and mining works
• Oversee engineering and technical delivery across multiple work fronts
• Coordinate site activities including earthworks, concrete, dewatering, and HDPE installation
• Ensure design, construction, and execution align with project specifications and client requirements
• Monitor progress, productivity, and costs, assisting with reporting and forecasting
• Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and delivery issues
• Assist with procurement, planning, and scheduling activities
• Ensure compliance with safety systems, quality standards, and statutory requirements

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on civil and/or mining projects
• Strong background in earthworks, concrete structures, dewatering systems, and HDPE pipelines
• Experience working on Tier 1 mining projects such as FMG, BHP, or similar
• Strong technical understanding of civil construction methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Engineering or Construction Management qualification (preferred)
