Consultant Planner (Contract) - Major Transport Infrastructure Project
Location: Brisbane CBD
Duration: 8-12 weeks (Immediate Start)
Rate: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Planner to join a leading Tier 1 Joint Venture delivering one of Brisbane's most complex and high-profile transport infrastructure projects.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark project that will help reshape the city's transport network in the lead-up to the Olympic Games. The scope of works spans major rail, road, and building infrastructure, making it one of the most technically challenging projects undertaken in the region in recent decades.

Working as part of a high-performing project team, you will be responsible for all day-to-day planning functions, supporting the successful delivery of this multi-disciplinary infrastructure project. This is a fast-paced contract role suited to a proactive and commercially aware planner who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Interface with construction, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure alignment
- Provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and programme analysis
- Ensure compliance with relevant specifications, including TMR standards
- Support project controls and contribute to overall project performance
- Proven experience as a Construction Planner working with Tier 1 civil contractors
- Demonstrated track record on major infrastructure projects valued at $500M+
- Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 is essential
- Strong understanding of TMR specifications and standards
- Commercially astute with the ability to interpret and influence project outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Driven, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
