One of the largest providers of property and facilities management services within Australia are seeking an experienced facilities operations manager to lead a team of 10 delivering comprehensive FM services to a super regional centre.
Reporting into a centre manager, you will assume overall responsibility for the ongoing presentation and operational function of the centre, by effective management and leadership of team members and contractors, whilst fostering team cooperation and maintaining a sustainable, safe and clean environment. You will also be responsible for planning, organising and monitoring operational contracts and functions to achieve cost effective outcomes - ensuring that all contractors comply with KPI and SLA's across the site as well as ensuring that all works are carried out inline with workplace and occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
This role also assume oversight and responsibility of the sites annual operational and CAPEX budgets, including working with centre management and regional teams for longer term costings.
To be successful in this role you will have a number of years experience delivering facilities management operations within retail shopping centre environments. You will have managed contractors across both hard and soft services, and have experience in the procurement of contracts. Ideally you will have a technical background and those with trade and engineering qualifications will be highly favoured, but those with extensive experience will still be considered.
