Senior Estimator | Civil, SMP & E&I | Tier One Mining Projects (WA)
 
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a growing, high-performing commercial team delivering major projects across Western Australia's mining and resources sector. This is an opportunity to play a key role in securing and shaping work across civil, structural, mechanical, piping (SMP) and electrical & instrumentation (E&I) scopes for some of the industry's most established tier one clients.
 
This is a small and expanding team environment where autonomy, accountability, and commercial ownership are highly valued. You'll be trusted to lead the full tender lifecycle and bring a strong, proven approach to winning competitive work in a fast-paced contracting environment.
 
About the Role

• Lead and manage end-to-end tendering and estimating processes
• Deliver first principles estimates across civil, SMP and/or E&I scopes
• Interpret drawings, scopes, specifications, and subcontractor pricing
• Build competitive, commercially sound submissions for major mining clients
• Liaise directly with operations, project delivery teams, and senior stakeholders
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
• Play a key role in securing repeat and new business across WA mining projects

About You

• Strong background as a Senior Estimator (civil and/or SMP/E&I)
• Demonstrated success working with main contractors in WA's mining & resources sector
• Proven track record of winning work in competitive tender environments
• Strong capability in first principles estimating (essential)
• Experience managing full tender processes autonomously from start to finish
• Comfortable working in a small, growing, and collaborative team
• Full Australian working rights
