Job description

Our client are a Government Transport Organisation who have a first class reputation for building and maintaining effective railway networks. They are currently involved with one of the largest rail infrastructure projects in NSW and with internal resources engaged on the necessary upgrade of a number of existing assets a need has been identified for specialist contract to assist in the delivery of this major project.

One position they are currently looking to recruit is for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join the major projects team on a contract basis. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the provision of commercial support and guidance including establishing start up and cost controls and reporting measures for early stages of the project. You will also be expected to prepare project commercial dashboards and other reports.

We are actively looking to speak to Senior Contracts Administrators who have a demonstrated level of commercial services experience in a rail environment preferably on a major project. We need people who are highly analytical and commercial in their approach with the ability to operate in a fast paced environment. You should also have a strong understanding of government legislation, policies and guidance as well as the ability to communicate with stakeholders at a regional level.
