Safety Coordinator - Major Rio Tinto Project | FIFO 2:1 | $140k-$160k + Super + Site Uplift
 
Are you an experienced HSE professional looking for your next FIFO opportunity with a leading Australian civil contractor?
 
We are currently seeking a Safety Coordinator to join a major Rio Tinto project on a 2:1 FIFO roster. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional with experience comparable to a Senior HSE Advisor who is looking to take the next step in their career while working on a large-scale infrastructure project.
 
The successful candidate will play a key role supporting site operations, driving safety performance, and ensuring compliance across a complex civil construction environment.
 
About the Role
  • FIFO position on a 2:1 roster from Perth
  • Major Rio Tinto project with a leading civil contractor
  • Salary package of $140k-$160k base + super + site uplift (dependent on experience)

About You
You will be an experienced HSE professional with:
  • Previous experience working as a Safety Coordinator, Senior HSE Advisor, or similar
  • Proven experience with Australian civil head contractors
  • Strong background supporting large-scale civil construction projects
  • Prior FIFO experience within remote project environments
  • Excellent knowledge of safety systems, legislation, audits, investigations, and risk management
  • The ability to build strong relationships with project teams and subcontractors
Essential Requirements
  • Full Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available)
  • Previous experience with Australian civil contractors
  • Ability to work a FIFO 2:1 roster from Perth
  • Current White Card and relevant HSE qualifications
