Job description
My client is seeking an experienced S26 Supervisor to join a major project at BHP’s Jimblebar Mine. This is an excellent FIFO opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong background in bulk earthworks, detailed civil works, and laydown logistics.
You’ll be stepping into a well-supported project environment operating to BHP systems and standards, with the potential for ongoing work.

- $90 – $95 Per Hour + Super
- 2:1 FIFO roster (Thursday fly-in / Wednesday fly-out)
- Minimum 3 swings with potential extension (up to 9 months)
- Day shifts only
- Target start: 21st May (subject to site approvals)
- Supervise and lead a crew of approximately 10 personnel, ensuring safe and productive outcomes
- Oversee laydown logistics, bulk earthworks, and detailed civil works
- Ensure compliance with BHP safety systems, procedures, and Section 26 statutory obligations
- Lead daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety interactions
- Coordinate plant, labour, and materials to meet project schedules
- Monitor progress and adjust priorities to achieve deadlines
- Conduct inspections, hazard identification, and implement risk controls
- Section 26 Supervisor qualification – essential (exam passed)
- Must have BHP inductions
- Jimblebar site approval – highly regarded
- Proven experience supervising civil and earthworks crews within mining environments
- Strong understanding of BHP systems and safety expectations
- Effective leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced FIFO environment
