Job description

Our client is one of the leading and most highly reputable Cost and Project Management Construction Consultancy, operating on a national level our client immediately requires the services of a Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Administrator with Procurement expertise . 

Duties to include: 
Undertake a Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Administrator assignments within the highways sectors. Liaising closely with the Head Of Construction Consulting, the ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with site staff and subcontractors.

Experience required:
  • Competent in measuring from architectural
  • Competent in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers; from compiling and issuing tender packs, scope of works, analysing submissions, interviewing potential subcontractors / suppliers, negotiating, preparing contract agreements / orders, monthly assessments, valuing variations through to agreeing final accounts.
  • Experience of producing monthly cost / value reports and quarterly cost / value forecasts at project level and business-wide level.
This is a contract position initially, with a great opportunity to transfer to a permanent contract.
