Job description

CGC have partnered up with a Mid-Tier specialist National Contractor who are currently experiencing a period of strategic growth with recent project wins across the Eastern Seaboard and Western Australia. 

They have recently been announced as preferred contractor to deliver one of Australia's most iconic infrastructure projects and as of such have identified an opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major Rail Infrastructure Project in QLD.

You will lead a team of multi-disciplined Engineering professionals to deliver a complex scope of works which includes Rail formation, Bulk Earth Works, surface and sub-surface drainage, culvert structure and the construction of a Rail facility. The position will involve being responsible for the development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverables, commercial and procurement arrangements. 

The role will be initially based in Brisbane for the first three months of the year but as of the nature of the project applicants must be willing to work on a FIFO Roster type basis, most likely a 21/7 Roster. To be considered for the role you must possess a minimum of 10 years experience as a Project Manager with a proven background in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects up to the value of $100ml.
