CGC Recruitment are working with a high-end residential builder based in Coogee and they seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. Specialising in architecturally designed homes, high-end renovations, and commercial projects, this builder has built a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship, exceptional client service, and delivering outstanding outcomes. The business intentionally limits the number of projects it takes on to maintain quality and provide a highly personalised experience for clients.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to become an integral part of a close-knit team and help drive projects from commencement through to successful handover. They have been operating for over 10 years and majority of their staff been with them for over 5 years.

Reporting directly to the director, you will oversee 3/4 residential or commercial projects typically valued up to $4 million each, ensuring delivery across programme, budget, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Maintain project programmes and proactively manage project risks.
• Monitor budgets, variations, procurement, and cost reporting.
• Lead client communication and stakeholder management throughout the build lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.
• Drive site safety, compliance, and best-practice construction methodologies.
• Utilise Buildertrend to manage project workflows, communication, documentation, and reporting.
• Work closely with directors and site teams to continuously improve project delivery outcomes.

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within residential construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of high-end residential builds, custom homes, and complex renovations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects valued between $1M–$5M+.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract administration skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience using Buildertrend is highly desirable.
• A solutions-focused mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Stable career history with a genuine desire to build a long-term future within one organisation.
