Project Manager – 9 Month Contract (ASAP Start)
Location: Gosford, NSW
Sector: Residential Construction (200 Apartment Development)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major residential project in Gosford on a 9-month contract to lead the project through its critical final phase and close-out.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a near-complete 200-apartment development and take ownership of all remaining works, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and high-quality handover.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project close-out activities across all areas of the development
• Oversee and coordinate defects identification and rectification
• Manage completion of external works, including landscaping and finishes
• Supervise delivery of common areas to final standard
• Coordinate public domain works, including footpaths, roads, and authority requirements
• Drive subcontractor performance to meet tight deadlines
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Liaise with stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and local authorities
• Maintain detailed reporting on progress, risks, and completion milestones

 
About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments
• Strong background in project close-out and defect management
• Demonstrated ability to manage external and public domain works
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Highly organised with a strong focus on quality and delivery
• Ability to step into a live project and quickly take control
