The Company
Our client is currently working with one of Australian’s largest investment / development companies re-developing and updating a large retail facility. This is a multi-staged project that will span the next 3-5 years. The next stages will include a base build upgrade, carpark conversion and major tenancy upgrade.
The builder is a well-known mid-tier with a strong presence in Sydney and Canberra. The team is made up of tier one and two people
Salary will depend experience but you can expect anywhere from $200K - $250K
Position
Reporting into a Project Director and Construction Manager, you will manage the procurement and design process, coordinate subcontractors, liaise with your site team and drive the program to an effective and successful conclusion. You will also manage all correspondence with the relevant stakeholders including the client, consultants, designers and internal staff.
You will be provided with a dedicated and experienced team that includes a Contract Administrator, Project Engineers and Site Supervisors to coordinate the day to day coordination and quality.
This position would suit a Senior Project Engineer that is looking to step up into a Project Manager

Ideal background
- Construction Management Degree
- Strong technical building/design knowledge and experience working with tier one or two builders
- Demonstrated leaderships skills and ability to drive and motivate your team
- Strong local experience within the Sydney market.
