Job description
PROJECT ENGINEER - WATER & WASTEWATER | SOUTH BRISBANE
Available now? We're looking for a gun-for-hire Project Engineer to hit the ground running.
 Southside Brisbane
 Start: 28 September 2026
⏱️ Approx. 8 weeks
Hourly rate | PAYG or Pty Ltd
 Weekly pay
We're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to provide immediate engineering support on a bespoke Utilities Upgrade project in a live brownfield environment.
This is not a role for someone who needs weeks to find their feet. We need someone who can walk onto site, understand what's happening, get stuck in and provide practical engineering support from day one.
What you'll be working on
You'll ideally have:
This is a genuine short-term "gun for hire" opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer who wants to come in, add value and get the job done.
You'll report directly to the Project Manager, who is working across multiple projects, so initiative, autonomy and the ability to hit the ground running are critical.
If you're between projects, coming off a project shortly, or simply looking for an 8-week assignment with weekly pay, we'd like to speak with you.
Please call Rory on 0428 026 703 or email [email protected]
