Job description

Civil Project Engineer (12 Months) - Blue Mountains

A NSW government agency is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Project Engineer to join a team in the Blue Mountains region. The successful candidate will work on road maintenance and slope stabilization projects, providing technical expertise and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects
  • Oversee construction and site works, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and budget standards
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain project documentation
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, local councils, and other government agencies
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in civil project engineering, with a focus on road maintenance and slope stabilization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
This is a 12-month position with an ASAP start. My client offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, and a competitive hourly rate.
