Job description
One of the nations best Tier 2 builders are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a proven track record in delivering large scale school project.
The company have a strong order book in place of traditional construction projects including hospitals, university buildings and commercial high rise schemes.
Having a proven track record you will have no problem delivering project of up to $300 Million in value. You will be working within the project team reporting to the project manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget. You will have responsibility for administrating Health and Safety, be confident when communicating with clients, consultants and authorities. You will also manage the subcontractors to a level that is required by the company in relation to time and cost levels and also be responsible for Planning, project programming and delivering scopes of works.
As the ideal applicant, you will have:

As the ideal applicant, you will have:
• At least 5 years experience of working on major building projects in Australia in the role of project engineer.
• A degree in Structural/Civil Engineering/Construction Management
• Experience working on construction projects above $50 million in value.
• An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent time management
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Appropriate IT skills
