Project Engineer - Marine Works | TfNSW Road Project | Western Sydney
Our client, a well-established civil contractor, is currently delivering a major TfNSW road project in Western Sydney and is looking for a Project Engineer to join the team on a temporary basis.
This role is centred around managing a marine subcontractor, so subcontractor management experience is the key requirement we're looking for. Exposure to sheet piling and marine works will be highly regarded, but we understand candidates with direct marine experience can be hard to find — a strong track record managing subcontractors in a civil environment is what matters most.
 
The role:

• 3-6 month temporary assignment, ASAP start
• Based in Western Sydney
• Managing a marine subcontractor across scope, program and delivery
• Working alongside an experienced project team on a high-profile TfNSW road project

What you'll need:

• Proven experience managing subcontractors on civil infrastructure projects
• Marine experience and/or exposure to sheet piling highly regarded but not essential
• Strong communication and coordination skills, comfortable liaising directly with subcontractors
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
