Project Engineer (Contract) – Residential Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a top-tier construction company on a major residential development in Sydney. This is a contract opportunity for an ASAP start, stepping into a project that is already well underway (mid-stage delivery).
The Opportunity You will play a key role in driving project delivery, working closely with the Site and Project Management teams to ensure construction milestones, quality standards, and safety outcomes are achieved.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers on-site
• Monitor project progress against program and budgets
• Ensure compliance with QA, WHS, and environmental standards
• Review and manage RFIs, shop drawings, and design documentation
• Assist with procurement, cost tracking, and reporting
• Support the Project Manager in delivering project objectives

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer on residential or mixed-use projects
• Background working with tier 1 or tier 2 builders highly regarded
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to hit the ground running in a live project environment
