Outbound Stock Coordinator – Warehouse Operations

We are partnering with a well-established logistics and transport business to recruit an experienced Outbound Stock Coordinator to join their warehouse team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in warehouse or logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient dispatch of outbound stock.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation, packing, and dispatch of outgoing stock while ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and compliance. You will work closely with warehouse staff and drivers to coordinate shipments, provide updates to customers, and monitor performance metrics. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the loading and dispatch of outbound stock in line with customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Perform quality checks, ensuring packaging integrity, accurate labelling, and adherence to safety or cold chain requirements.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Monitor operational KPIs such as on-time dispatch, damage rates, and compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, documentation, and operational incidents.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse, transport, or logistics operations, preferably with outbound stock or distribution focus.
• Experience in refrigerated or temperature-controlled operations is advantageous but not essential.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (COR), load restraint, and workplace health & safety standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team while taking ownership of responsibilities.
