Job description

A global real estate advisory business with business lines across advisory, asset management, property management and facilities management are seeking an experienced facilities manager / operations manager to join their team at a flagship super regional shopping centre in Sydney west. 

Reporting into the centre manager, you will take responsibility for a team of 7 direct staff, plus a network of contractors into the hundreds, overseeing the delivery of all hard and soft services the the centre. Ensuring that the site is safe, compliant, sustainable and clean. 

Key duties will include:

  • Plan, organise and monitor operational contracts (including cleaning, security, front of house, maintenance and service) and functions to achieve cost effective outcomes
  • Develop, implement and manage site-specific Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage the preparation and implementation of the Centres Annual Expenditure and Capital Budgets

In addition to this, the centre is earmarked for an exciting period of redevelopment. In this senior role you will work alongside the asset management and development teams, ensuring that any and all works are completed to highest possible standard, whilst also taking responsibility for the continued operation of the centre, and the well-being and experience of customers, retails, and staff.
