Are you a Maintenance Fitter with strong FMCG or food manufacturing experience looking for a permanent night shift role with excellent pay, overtime and work-life balance?

My client is a leading food production manufacturer supplying high-volume products across Australia and is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their night shift maintenance team.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment focused on equipment reliability, preventative maintenance and minimising downtime across production and packaging lines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Breakdown and preventative maintenance across production machinery
• Fault finding on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Maintaining conveyors, pumps, valves, pipework and steam equipment
• Servicing high-speed automated manufacturing and packaging lines
• Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives
• Working closely with production to minimise downtime and maximise output
• Maintaining GMP, HACCP and food safety standards

Machinery & Equipment Exposure

• Conveyors & automated production systems
• Mixers, pumps & process equipment
• Steam & boiler systems
• Pneumatics & hydraulics
• Packaging machinery
• Bearings, gearboxes, motors & drives

What We’re Looking For
✔ Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter
✔ Minimum 4 years experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or high-speed production
✔ Strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance skills
✔ Experience working within GMP/HACCP environments
✔ Ability to work autonomously on night shift
✔ Welding and fabrication skills highly regarded
✔ CMMS experience advantageous
✔ Forklift licence desirable
