An opportunity is available for a hardworking Mechanical Trades Assistant to join a busy food manufacturing site in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

This is a physical, hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment alongside maintenance fitters and production teams.
Ideal for someone mechanically minded who enjoys practical work and can keep up in a high-volume factory setting.

�� Key Duties:
✅ Assisting with machinery changeovers
✅ Preventative maintenance (PMs)
✅ Oiling, greasing & servicing equipment
✅ Riveting and replacing panels
✅ Supporting fitters during breakdowns
✅ General mechanical TA & maintenance duties
✅ Working around conveyors and production machinery

�� To Be Successful:
✔ Mechanically minded with hands-on experience
✔ Comfortable with physical labour
✔ Able to use hand & power tools confidently
✔ Reliable and able to work night shift
✔ Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, TA or labouring roles preferred
✔ Strong work ethic and positive attitude
