A leading Tier‑1 industrial services contractor is mobilising additional Mechanical Pipe Fitters for a major construction project on Bulwer Island. This scope requires strong flange management, pipe fitting and structural installation experience, with a preference for candidates from heavy construction, energy or large‑scale industrial projects.
  
This is a well‑structured, safety‑driven site with consistent hours, clear supervision and immediate starts available.
  
What you’ll be doing

• Flange management, bolt‑up, torque/tension
• Pipe fitting and spool installation
• Structural steel installation and support systems
• Installing stainless and carbon steel pipework
• Cutting, bevelling, prepping and aligning spools
• Installing valves, flanges, gaskets, supports
• Reading and interpreting isometrics & P&IDs
• Working within a disciplined SMP team on a live construction site

What you need

• Trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter / related trade
• Heavy construction background (mining, energy, industrial, oil & gas)
• Strong SMP installation experience
• Confident reading isometrics
• Construction White Card
• Confined Space & Working at Heights
• Full Australian working rights
