The Company 
Our client is a tier 2 engineering/civil contractor firm whose growth requires an extra person within the marketing team. With an understanding of InDesign, marketing experience and a passion for the industry (engineering, property, construction or architecture) you will join a collaborative team as the Marketing & Bid Coordinator!
Glebe location. 

The Position
The Bid/Submission Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Estimating Manager and be responsible for coordinating bid activities for highly significant, multi-million-dollar proposals for both blue-chip private and government clients, as well as a range of marketing activities. 
75% Bids and 25% Marketing.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Marketing: content writing and collateral creation across traditional, digital, website and social media
  • Create visually compelling print and design solutions for bids and proposals using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Photoshoots, video shoots, copywriting, events 
  • CRM maintenance 
  • Providing high-level administrative support for tasks associated with bid and proposal preparation including data entry, editing, formatting, compiling, uploading and printing tenders and proposals for submission.
  • Assist with the organisation and management of company digital marketing library.
  • Deliver the objectives and targets as collectively set by the Directors, General Manager and Marketing Manager.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years working in a similar role or within marketing, graphics or bids
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in graphic design, marketing or communications 
  • Intermediate-Advanced Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Advanced capability with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Accurate and highly attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organisation skills and an ability to deal with several projects concurrently while successfully working to deadlines.
  • A strong communicator with effective interpersonal skills to support a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • A team player with the ability to work well collaboratively as well as autonomously.
