Based in brand-new offices in Pyrmont, you’ll work closely with an experienced leadership and estimating team across both Sydney and Brisbane, sharing resources, knowledge, and workload across the business.
Additional benefits include:
Reporting to senior management in both Sydney and Brisbane, you will manage approximately 2-3 tenders concurrently while being supported by an experienced submissions team.
This role would suit an Estimator or Senior Estimator with strong first-principles pricing experience and a solid understanding of the Sydney mid-tier commercial market for Heavy Refurbs or Major Loss Insurance works (commercial)
Initially this position will work across the Major Loss tenders with the opportunity to gain exposure to New Build commercial long term
You will utilise CostX and play a key role in preparing competitive and high-quality tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Salary will be dependent on experience, with packages ranging from approximately $150K (EST)– $250K (SR EST)+ Bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Review tender and contract documentation
- Attend site inspections with clients and subcontractors
- Prepare and issue tender packages
- Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Measure and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities
- Manage RFIs and tender clarifications
- Prepare comprehensive tender submissions including methodologies, staging plans, construction programs, and schedules
- Experience pricing commercial construction projects within the Australian market, ideally across major loss insurance or heavy refurb
- Strong first-principles estimating capability
- Proficient with CostX
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
