Company
Based in Western Sydney we are working with a well-established Commercial/Industrial builder who have a strong pipeline of work for the foreseeable. Having operated in the Sydney market for over 15 years, they have grown year on year and now have a turnover of $40m a year.
 
They specialise in completing large warehouse projects between to $10m-$30m mark. Each project has its own dedicated Project Manager, CA, Site Manager and Leading Hand ensuring that a high level of quality is maintained.   
 
Opportunity
With 3 new projects due to start at the beginning of the year, all within the industrial space, they are looking to hire an additional leading Hand who can join one of the 4 pre-existing teams.
One of the projects coming up is a $25m new build warehouse storage facility in the Hills district.
This would be an ideal position for someone who has a couple of years’ experiences under their belt and they are looking to join a family feel company that understand the work-life balance.
 
Salary
$110K plus super Neg dependant on Salary
 
 
Requirements
  • Carpentry trained
  • 1-2 years’ experience working on large scale projects
  • Experience working on steel frame builds
  • Looking for a long term career
 
Duties
 
Working alongside an experienced Site Manager your mains responsibilities will be to drive trades on site to the programme and make sure that quality is maintained. Your daily duties with include below:

  • Directing subcontractors and trades on site
  • Carry out site inductions 
  • Ensure that H&S is adhered to onsite
  • Maintain high level of finish with trade
  • Liase with client when needed
  • Conduct daily site meetings
