CGC Recruitment are looking for an experience leading hand carpenter to work for a luxury home builder across the Lower North Shore & Northern Beaches. They deliver projects up to $25m on Class 1 and 2 luxury residential projects and have been running for over 10 years.
This will be a full-time position to join a long-standing team and work on award winning homes. Our client is looking to bring in a leading hand carpenter who can work under an experienced site manager and develop skills to become a site manager on future projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager in the daily running of luxury residential projects
- Coordinate subcontractors and site labour
- Monitor construction programmes and ensure works are completed on schedule
- Maintain exceptional quality control standards throughout all stages of construction
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and site safety procedures
- Conduct site inspections and identify potential issues before they impact programme
- Manage deliveries, materials, and site logistics
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and trades
- Mentor and supervise carpenters, apprentices, and labourers
- Qualified Carpenter with a strong residential construction background
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand Carpenter or Senior Carpenter
- Proven experience working on Class 1 and/or Class 2 luxury residential projects
- Experience delivering high-end custom homes, prestige residences, or luxury apartment developments
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- A genuine desire to progress into a Foreman or Site Management role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
