CGC Recruitment are partnering with an award winning builder delivering architecturally designed homes and high-end renovations across Sydney's Sutherland Shire and Eastern Suburbs. They have a strong team of 20 employees and deliver projects between $1m to $4m

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work for the next 2 years, we're seeking a Junior Foreman who is looking to take the next step in their construction career. This role offers the ideal balance of leadership and hands-on work, with approximately 50% site supervision and 50% on the tools.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a leading hand or experienced carpenter who wants to develop into a full-time Foreman or Site Manager over the coming years. You will initially come in and work under an experience site manager for 3 months and then move onto your own project.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day management of residential construction sites
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard
• Maintain quality control throughout all stages of construction
• Conduct site inductions and manage WHS requirements
• Remain hands-on and assist with carpentry works where required
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and materials
• Liaise with clients, architects and consultants on site
• Support project delivery from commencement through to handover

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Trade qualification in Carpentry
• 4+ years' experience in high end residential construction
• Experience delivering custom homes, renovations or extensions
• Strong understanding of residential building processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive attitude with a desire to progress into site management
• White Card and current driver's licence
