We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Contract Administrator to join a reputable main contractor on a regional building project. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, assessment, and processing of contract variations
- Track and manage variation registers, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Support the project team with subcontractor administration and documentation
- Liaise with site and commercial teams to gather supporting information for variations
- Assist in cost tracking and reporting
- Maintain project records, correspondence, and contract documentation
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
- 1–3 years’ experience in a Contract Administrator or similar role (construction industry preferred)
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar (or working towards)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general contract administration systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced site-based environment
- Immediate start with a respected main builder
- 3-month contract with potential for extension
- Accommodation provided for the duration of the project
- Valuable experience working on a live building project
